My Route
With the My Route feature, you can record your preferred or frequently walked routes. This allows you to walk to your destination using the route you prefer. This page explains how to register and use My Route.
1. How to Register My Route
Follow these steps to register a My Route. Once you have registered your one-way route, you can use the same route to return you to your original location.
- Tap the “My Route” button at the bottom of the map screen.
- Tap “Add New.”
- Walk the route you want to record. Once you arrive at your destination, tap the circle “Complete” button at the bottom of the screen.
- When the confirmation message for ending the recording appears, tap “End recording.”
- Tap “Next” at the bottom of the screen.
- Edit the route name, then tap “Register.”
[Important Notes]
- No vibration guidance will be provided while recording the route. If you are unsure about the path, we recommend having someone accompany you.
- It is recommended to register routes in an environment with good GPS reception, similar to normal navigation.
- Indoor or low-signal environments may result in inaccurate route recording.
2. How to Use Navigation with My Route
Follow these steps to start navigation using a registered My Route.
- Tap the “My Route” button at the bottom of the map screen.
- Select the desired My Route.
- Tap the “Start Navigation” button.

- If you want to walk the route in reverse order (e.g., from the station to home instead of home to the station), tap the “Start in Reverse” button after selecting your desired route.

Q. A message appeared saying I am away from the starting point. Should I select “Start navigation to the point of departure” or “Start My Route from current location”?
A. If you want to go to the starting point first, select “Start navigation to the point of departure.” If you want to skip the starting point and join the route partway through, we recommend selecting “Start My Route from current location.”
Q. The app says I am away from the starting point, but I am already at the starting point of my My Route.
A. There may be an error in your current location data. Please try using the “Camera-based location correction” feature first.
3. How to Request a Correction for a Registered My Route
If the recorded route is incorrect, you can request a correction from ASHIRASE support. Follow these steps to submit a correction request.
- Open the ASHIRASE app and tap the “Menu” button at the top right.
- Tap the “Help” button.
- Tap “Contact Us.”
- Tap “My Route Edit Request Form.”
- Select the route you want to edit, enter the details, and tap “Send.”
4. Editing and Deleting My Route
Follow these steps to edit the name of a registered My Route.
- Open the ASHIRASE App and tap the “My Route” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe the route you want to edit from right to left. (If using a screen reader, focus on the route and flick up or down with one finger.)
- Edit and Delete buttons will appear — tap “Edit.”
- On the edit screen, tap “Edit” in the bottom left corner, then select the route name to edit it.
- When you are done, tap “Register.”
To delete a registered My Route, follow these steps:
- Open the ASHIRASE App and tap the “My Route” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe the route you want to delete from right to left. (If using a screen reader, focus on the route and flick up or down with one finger.)
- Edit and Delete buttons will appear — tap “Delete.”
- A confirmation message will appear — tap “OK” to complete the deletion.

- Deleted routes cannot be recovered. Please confirm carefully before deleting.
5. Changing the Display Order of My Route List
By tapping “Sort” on the My Route screen, you can change the display order based on nearest or registration date order.
