ASHIRASE2 Cover Instruction Manual

What is the ASHIRASE2 Cover

When the ASHIRASE2 device is attached to shoes, the hard plastic part (hereinafter referred to as the “main unit”) is exposed on the outside of the shoe. The ASHIRASE2 Cover is designed to protect this main unit from scratches and other damage.

Included Items

One set of ASHIRASE2 Covers (one for each foot)

How to Attach the Cover

  • If the surface of the ASHIRASE2 device’s main unit has dirt, oil, or dust, wipe it thoroughly with a soft cloth before attaching the cover.
  • Remove the ASHIRASE2 Cover from its individual plastic packaging and align it in the correct top and bottom orientation. The cover is the same shape for both the left and right devices; only the top/bottom orientation needs to be adjusted.
  • Peel off the release liner from the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the ASHIRASE2 Cover.
  • Align the ASHIRASE2 Cover with the shape of the device. The adhesive is strong. Please ensure the cover is positioned correctly before applying.
  • Once the position is set, press the entire cover firmly from the outside to secure it in place.

Reference Images The following images show the device before and after attaching the cover. Please use them as a reference, for example when attaching the cover together with a support person.

Precautions for Use

  • Due to the strong adhesive of the double-sided tape, the cover is generally not reusable once removed.
  • Please pay close attention to the orientation and the installation position when attaching the cover.
