iPhone App Release Notes June 23, 2026

This update provides details on the iPhone app update released on June 23, 2026. (App version 10.0.1)
Starting with this version, the minimum supported OS has been raised to iOS 16 or later.

Table of Contents:
1. A message now appears to guide you through practice when you first start using the app
2. You can now edit and delete Favorites and My Routes directly from the list
3. Added new options when starting a My Route from a location away from the starting point
4. Other bug fixes

1. After completing your first device pairing, a message will now appear inviting you to try a tutorial navigation experience.

Before navigating outdoors for the first time, we recommend simulating the navigation flow at least once.
If you close the message, you can return to practice at any time via Tutorial Mode in the User Guide section.

2. You can now edit and delete Favorites and My Routes directly from the list.

Previously, editing a Favorite or My Route required selecting the location, opening the navigation preparation screen, and then navigating to the edit screen.
With this update, you can now edit or delete entries directly from the list.

How to use for Favorites:
(For My Routes, please use the My Route button to access the same options.)
1. Open the ASHIRASE App and tap the “Favorites” button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Swipe the location you want to edit or delete from right to left. (If using VoiceOver, focus on the location and flick up or down with one finger.)
3. Edit and Delete buttons will appear — tap either one.
4. Tapping Edit will take you to the edit screen. Tapping Delete will display a confirmation message; tap “OK” to complete the deletion.

3. Added new options when starting a My Route from a location away from the starting point.

Previously, when starting a My Route from a location away from the starting point, the app would only display the prompt: “Would you like to start navigation to your point of departure?”
With this update, in addition to “Start navigation to the point of departure,” you can now also select “Start My Route from current location.”

How to choose:
If you want to go to the starting point first, select “Start navigation to the point of departure.”
If you want to skip the starting point and join the route partway through to head toward your destination, we recommend selecting “Start My Route from current location.”

When you select “Start My Route from current location,” the app will begin guiding you with direction vibration toward the nearest point on your My Route. (At this stage, the vibrations indicate direction only and do not constitute turn-by-turn route guidance.) Once you join the My Route, navigation will automatically switch to the standard My Route experience.

4. Other bug fixes

We have fixed minor bugs to improve the experience.
